On October 5, Huawei announced that Huawei and Qualcomm announced the signing of a multi-year, broad patent licensing agreement. The agreement covers cross-licensing of both parties' patent portfolios in multiple fields including 5G, computing, artificial intelligence, and networking, as well as Qualcomm's acquisition of some of Huawei's U.S. patents.
