From September 29 to October 2, Jiangsu Provincial Governor Liu Xiaotao led a Jiangsu delegation on an inspection visit to the United Arab Emirates, thoroughly implementing Xi Jinping Thought on Diplomacy, earnestly implementing the important consensus reached by the leaders of China and the UAE, continuously deepening exchanges and practical cooperation, and working together to achieve mutual benefit, win-win results, and common development. Liu Xiaotao separately met with Sultan, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company and Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology of the UAE, Zeyoudi, Minister of Foreign Trade of the UAE, and Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development. Liu Xiaotao said that under the guidance of the China-UAE comprehensive strategic partnership, Jiangsu and the UAE have achieved fruitful results in cooperation across various fields. He looked forward to the two sides further expanding cooperation in advanced manufacturing, green energy, emerging industries, artificial intelligence and other fields, jointly advancing the construction of the China-UAE Industrial Capacity Cooperation Demonstration Park, continuously deepening economic and trade exchanges, and contributing to building a China-UAE community with a shared future. The UAE side said that the foundation for cooperation with Jiangsu is solid and the prospects are broad, and that it will actively expand exchanges and coordination to create more landmark cooperation projects. The UAE has sovereign investment institutions of a leading global scale. Liu Xiaotao separately met with Khaldoon, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Mubadala Investment Company, and Majid, Chairman of the Management Committee of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, and warmly welcomed UAE investment institutions to develop and do business in Jiangsu, increase resource allocation, deepen cooperation in finance and capital markets, and share in Jiangsu's high-quality development opportunities. The UAE side said that Jiangsu is an ideal destination for innovative investment and that it is willing to continue investing in China and deepening its presence in Jiangsu, constantly raising the level and standard of cooperation between the two sides.
