The Chairman of Yemen's Presidential Leadership Council announced the launch of military operations.

On October 4 local time, Rashad Muhammad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council of Yemen and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, announced the launch of a military operation "to recover the remaining areas of Yemen and restore the jurisdiction of state and government institutions across the country."
