Liquid cooling giant's merger and acquisition signals a new trend
The wind of international liquid cooling acquisitions has quietly shifted. Recently, international liquid cooling company Vertiv announced the acquisition of Europe's KES. Public information shows that KES provides fluid management, commissioning, and load testing services for high-density liquid-cooled data centers and other applications. Vertiv is one of the earliest global giants to build a presence in the liquid cooling industry through M&A. Over the past four years, Vertiv has acquired 10 companies with different business characteristics, significantly enhancing its technological capabilities. Industry insiders say that with the global advancement of AIDC, Vertiv has gradually moved beyond simple product competition and is developing toward integrated operations and services. This shift will greatly improve the company's comprehensive service capabilities and potential profitability. By comparison, acquisitions in China's liquid cooling sector are still concentrated in hardware, with a focus on quickly entering international liquid cooling and core domestic industry chains.
