A Xinmin Evening News reporter learned from the Shanghai General Station of Immigration Inspection that on October 1, inbound and outbound passengers at Shanghai's ports reached 132,000, a year-on-year increase of 4.8%. Data from the Shanghai General Station of Immigration Inspection show that since the beginning of this year, the number of inbound and outbound travelers at Shanghai's ports has continued to remain at a high level. In the first three quarters, Shanghai immigration inspection authorities processed more than 32.7 million inbound and outbound travelers, a year-on-year increase of 1.2%; and inspected 220,000 inbound and outbound transportation vehicles.
