Bonnie Chan: HKEX has been constantly thinking about how to enhance primary market fundraising and secondary market trading volume.

Zhito Finance APP has learned that HKEX (00388.HK) CEO Chan Yiting said in a radio program that HKEX has been considering how to increase financing amounts in the primary market and daily turnover in the secondary market. She pointed out that an important topic in aligning with the national "15th Five-Year Plan" is to consolidate and enhance Hong Kong's status as an international financial center, in which HKEX plays an important role and will unquestionably make more contributions. Chan Yiting believes that global investors have refocused their attention on Asia, especially the Chinese market, and believe that they must invest in China. These investors hope to diversify their asset allocation rather than only invest in stocks, so Hong Kong needs to build a diversified asset ecosystem covering products such as equities, fixed income and currencies, and commodities.
