SoftBank Group announced on October 1 that it completed its third and final additional investment in OpenAI through the SoftBank Vision Fund 2, in the amount of $10 billion. With this, the previously announced additional investment of $30 billion has been fully completed. After completing this investment, SoftBank's cumulative investment in OpenAI reached $64.6 billion, with an equity stake of approximately 13%. The funds for this investment came from the foreign currency-denominated senior bonds announced by SoftBank on September 24.
