Micron Technology (MU.O) reported Q4 FY2026 revenue of $54.229 billion, compared with $11.315 billion a year earlier and the market expectation of $50.584 billion. Micron also gave a current-quarter sales forecast that exceeded expectations, as the rapid development of artificial intelligence has driven unprecedented demand. The company said in a statement on Wednesday that it expects revenue for the first quarter of the next fiscal year to be about $60 billion to $63 billion, while analysts on average expected $56.8 billion. Excluding certain items, profit will be about $38.15 per share, compared with a forecast of $36.02. After the report was released, the stock rose less than 1% in after-hours trading. Morgan Stanley analysts said: "We believe that market conditions in the near term remain very good, with strong demand and price increases evident. The focus of discussion has clearly shifted from how good it can get to how long the good times can last?"
