Bank of Xi'an: Independent Director Li Xiao Resigns for Personal Reasons

Bank of Xi'an announced on September 30 that its independent director Li Xiao submitted a resignation report to the bank's board of directors on September 29, 2026, due to personal reasons, applying to resign from the positions of independent director of the company and member of the board's specialized committees. As a result of Li Xiao's resignation, the number of independent directors of Bank of Xi'an will fall below one-third of the number of board members. Before the bank's shareholders' meeting elects a new independent director and the regulatory authorities approve the qualifications for the position, Li Xiao will continue to perform the duties of independent director of the company's board of directors and related board specialized committees in accordance with laws and regulations and the provisions of the Articles of Association of Bank of Xi'an Co., Ltd. Bank of Xi'an will complete the by-election of independent directors as soon as possible in accordance with relevant regulations.
