Hengan International: The passing of one of the Group's founders, Sze Man Bok, will not have any impact on the Group's operations.

On the morning of September 30, Hengan International announced on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange that the board of directors sadly announces that Mr. Sze Man Bok, one of the founders of the Group, Chairman of the Company and Executive Director, and a member of the Company's Nomination Committee, passed away on September 29, 2026. Since the Group's establishment in 1985 and until recently, Mr. Sze had been fully devoted to leading the Group's overall development direction and business strategy, committed to building the Group into one of the largest manufacturers and distributors of personal and household hygiene products in China. The board of directors is deeply saddened by the passing of Mr. Sze and hereby expresses its heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Sze for his valuable leadership and guidance provided to the Group, as well as for his contributions. The board of directors believes that the passing of Mr. Sze will not have any impact on the Group's operations, and the board of directors will continue to strive to strengthen and develop the Group. The board of directors expresses its deepest condolences on the passing of Mr. Sze and extends its deepest sympathies to his family.
