Zhejiang issues a notice to accelerate the building of a strong province for high-quality development of the digital economy.

Recently, the General Office of the Zhejiang Provincial Government issued the "Zhejiang Province '15th Five-Year Plan' Digital Economy and Digital Infrastructure Plan." The plan covers the period from 2026 to 2030, with an outlook to 2035. The Plan specifies that by 2030, Zhejiang's digital economy development level will remain firmly among the nation's top ranks and reach world-class standards, with the value added of the digital economy accounting for 60% of GDP, accelerating its advance toward a new intelligent economy characterized by the intelligent connection of all things, human-machine collaboration, cross-sector integration, and co-creation and sharing. The global influence of its highland for AI innovation and development will become more prominent, and it will be built into a strong province with high-quality digital economy development. By 2035, it will fully enter a new stage of intelligent economy development, establish an institutional system that promotes intelligent economy development and world-class intelligent infrastructure, achieve deep integration of the real economy and the intelligent economy, bring about comprehensive transformation of industrial models and organizational forms, fully unlock the value of data elements, ensure that the dividends of intelligentization are universally shared, and become an important source of global intelligent technology innovation, industrial innovation, and open-source ecosystems.
