Foton Motor announced on September 29 that the company has formulated its "15th Five-Year" strategic plan, clarifying its overall strategy, business objectives, and paths to achievement. The strategic objectives propose that during the "15th Five-Year" period, the company will anchor its sales and profit targets, strive to achieve 1 million vehicle sales by 2030, continuously enhance profitability through its four major businesses, and endeavor to become a world-class commercial vehicle enterprise. It will accelerate the industrialization layout and development of overseas markets, deeply localized operations, and ecosystem development, aiming to achieve 400,000 overseas sales by 2030, accounting for 40% of total sales. It will increase investment in new energy technologies and ecosystems, cultivate independent core new energy technologies, build core "three electrics" resources, achieve innovative development of the new energy ecosystem, and realize 500,000 new energy vehicle sales by 2030, accounting for 50% of total sales.
