The XianDao Core Light Optoelectronic Chip Base has commenced production in Optics Valley, with a total investment of 12 billion yuan.

According to the China Optics Valley WeChat official account, on September 28, the wafer fab of Vital Advanced Semiconductor Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Vital Technology Group, came online in the East Lake Comprehensive Bonded Zone. The fab is the manufacturing core of the high-end compound semiconductor materials and chip industrialization base built by Vital Technology Group with an investment of 12 billion yuan, and features dual-material large-size optoelectronic chip platforms for 4/6-inch indium phosphide and 6/8-inch gallium arsenide. After coming online, the base has moved from the construction phase to the process certification and product introduction phase.
