Luckin Coffee has secured funding from the Persian Gulf and is considering entering the Middle Eastern market.
After receiving investment from Abu Dhabi sovereign fund Mubadala Investment Company, Luckin Coffee is once again evaluating the possibility of entering the Persian Gulf market. David Li, co-founder and CEO of private equity firm Centurium Capital, Luckin's controlling shareholder, said in a media interview on Monday that the company's senior management is considering expanding into the Gulf countries market. He said: "We are still examining other markets, and it is possible that we may enter regions such as the Gulf countries."
