Qualcomm (QCOM.US) future Snapdragon flagship chips may adopt Samsung's 2nm process, TSMC (TSM.US) orders face diversion.

Zhito Finance APP has learned that Qualcomm (QCOM.US) has just released the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 and Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipsets based on a 2nm manufacturing process. There were previously rumors that Qualcomm would use Samsung Foundry to produce some of its high-end chips, but the new chipsets are not from Samsung Foundry. Now, according to reports, this chipmaker has revealed that it is working with Samsung Foundry on future Snapdragon mobile platformsmeaning that some of Qualcomm's upcoming flagship chipsets may be manufactured using Samsung's advanced 2nm process technology.
