Trump: 'Very seriously' considering banning diesel exports

"We are looking at that very seriously," U.S. President Trump said when asked about a possible ban on diesel exports. "We're looking at that very seriously. We may do that," he said in an interview on the sidelines of a golf tournament he was attending. He said banning diesel exports would tend to cause a small increase in car gasoline prices. Trump blamed the diesel shortage on Ukraine's attacks on Russian refineries. "We'll take care of the situation," he said. Trump said he had told Ukraine's president to go easy on Russian refineries.
