According to sources who spoke to Axios, President Trump is planning to host a private dinner at the White House later this Sunday evening for Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei. The dinner is the first one-on-one meeting between the two, signaling a thaw in relations between Anthropic and the administration after a long stretch of tension between government officials and their allies and the company. At last week's state dinner, top tech CEOs from OpenAI's Altman to Google's Sundar Pichai were at Trump's side, with one notable exception Amodei, who was unable to attend due to a scheduling conflict. After that, a source said, Trump personally invited Amodei to the dinner.
