The 15th United Nations Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice opened on the 26th in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates. More than 40 justice ministers and over 5,100 delegates from 119 countries attended the congress. The congress adopted the Abu Dhabi Declaration, setting out a framework for global crime governance in the digital age.
