Fitch: Upgrades Prudential (02378.HK) Long-Term Issuer Rating to "AA-", Outlook "Stable"

On September 25, Fitch upgraded the Long-Term Issuer Default Rating (IDR) of Prudential PLC (referred to as "Prudential", 02378.HK) from "A+" to "AA-". At the same time, Fitch has upgraded the Insurer Financial Strength (IFS) rating of Prudential's core subsidiaries from "AA-" (Very Strong) to "AA" (Very Strong).
