Akasa Air, India's youngest airline, is in talks with Boeing to order more than 200 737 Max aircraft, according to people familiar with the matter. The carrier aims to secure aircraft deliveries for the next decade to further expand its share of the aviation market. A decision on the new order may be made early next year, with terms expected to be finalized in the second half of 2027, the people said. They also cautioned that the talks are still at an early stage and that a purchase agreement may ultimately not be reached.
