Meta's newly launched Muse AI agent helped drive tech stocks higher this week, with the market paying closer attention to its AI strategy after the company showcased related products at its Connect conference on Wednesday evening. JPMorgan's analyst team raised its price target on Meta to $920 from $820. JPMorgan's bullish stance stems largely from the Muse agent, which the bank believes has the potential to become "the most widely used consumer AI application after ChatGPT." Meta said Wednesday evening that the Muse AI agent is now able to connect to "connectors" including Walmart, Best Buy, Sephora and Wayfair, allowing it to interact with these companies' services. However, Amazon is currently blocking the agent from accessing its marketplace. JPMorgan analysts said that over time, Meta is expected to generate commercial revenue this way, for example through revenue-sharing or commission models.
