WeChat Pay launches a payment app for overseas short-term visitors to China.

On September 24, WeChat Pay announced the launch of the TenPayGo app, aimed at overseas travelers visiting China for short periods. Without needing a mobile phone number or a bank card issued in China, users can quickly register and log in via email, and quickly link international bank cards, overseas wallets, or mainstream overseas payment methods such as Apple Pay that partner with WeChat Pay on TenPayGo. According to the introduction, overseas wallets previously connected through the "unified cross-border QR code gateway" by WeChat Pay will gradually be integrated into TenPayGo, with the first batch including ShopeePay, Starryblu, and others, and about 60 expected to be integrated by the end of the year.
