On September 24, the National Energy Administration released national electricity statistics for January-August. As of the end of August, China's cumulative installed power generation capacity reached 4.103 billion kilowatts, up 11.1% year on year. Of this, installed solar power capacity was 1.299 billion kilowatts, up 16.3% year on year; installed wind power capacity was 693 million kilowatts, up 19.6% year on year. From January to August, the cumulative average utilization of national power generation equipment was 1,942 hours, 163 hours lower than the same period last year.
