Takao Tsukui, Chairman and CEO of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries America, said that driven by demand for AI data center construction in the United States, global gas turbine demand is expected to be flat or higher in 2026 compared with 2025, based on order progress from January to June 2026, and is likely to exceed 100 gigawatts again for the full year. He expects this strong demand to continue into 2027.
