Zhito Finance APP has learned that, according to a person familiar with the matter, Royal Caribbean Cruises (RCL.US) is nearing a $3 billion deal to acquire a 50% stake in Sandals. The person said the deal values the Caribbean resort chain at $6 billion and is expected to boost growth for both companies. The person said negotiations are still ongoing and the deal may ultimately not be reached.
