Zhito Finance APP has learned that on September 20, data from the National Energy Administration showed that in August 2026, total electricity consumption across society exceeded one trillion again, reaching 1,033.2 billion kWh, a year-on-year increase of 1.7%; electricity load hit a record high of 1.56 billion kilowatts, 49.69 million kilowatts higher than the maximum load of the previous year, with a total of 7 days exceeding the previous year's maximum load.
