Market research firm Omdia's latest data shows that in the second quarter of 2026, global true wireless stereo (TWS) earphone shipments fell 0.7% year-on-year to 82.1 million units, the first year-on-year decline since the second quarter of 2023. Among them, shipments in the Chinese market fell 9.5% year-on-year, dragging down the overall performance. By manufacturer, Apple's TWS shipments in the second quarter were 16.8 million units, up 1.2% year-on-year, with a market share of 20.5%, continuing to rank first. Xiaomi ranked second with a 10.4% market share, Samsung ranked third with 6.7%, and Huawei and OPPO ranked fourth and fifth with 6.2% and 5.0%, respectively.
