According to CME's "FedWatch": After the Fed raises rates as expected in September, the probability that the Fed will keep rates unchanged at 3.75%-4.00% at its October meeting is 59.5%, the probability of a 25 basis point rate hike is 40.1%, and the probability of a 50 basis point rate hike is 0.5%. The probability that the Fed will keep rates unchanged at 3.75%-4.00% by December is 16.7%, the probability of a cumulative 25 basis point rate hike is 54.0%, the probability of a cumulative 50 basis point rate hike is 28.9%, and the probability of a cumulative 75 basis point rate hike is 0.3%.
