Hong Kong's five-year plan sets six major goals.

The Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, John Lee, today announced the First Five-Year Plan for Economic and Social Development of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. John Lee stated that the First Five-Year Plan for Hong Kong has six major goals, including: achieving new breakthroughs in economic development; continuously enhancing international competitiveness and influence; accelerating and improving the efficiency of the Northern Metropolis construction; significantly improving people's livelihood and well-being; and making major progress in integrating into and serving the overall development of the country.
