Taiwan Affairs Office: We hope people on both sides of the Taiwan Strait can see more high-quality micro short dramas featuring the participation of Taiwanese industry practitioners.

Zhu Fenglian, spokesperson for the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council: To actively implement the ten policy measures to promote cross-strait exchanges and cooperation authorized for release by the Taiwan Affairs Office of the CPC Central Committee, the Beijing Municipal Taiwan Affairs Office guided the government new media platform "Jingcai Taiwan" to produce the costume micro-short drama *Jiaqing Emperor Tours Taiwan*, which held its premiere in Beijing on September 11. The drama draws on Taiwanese folk legends and glove puppet theater elements, integrating regional culture and distinctive opera genres. Several Taiwanese actors participated in the performance and Minnan-language dubbing of this costume micro-short drama. All 70 episodes have been released on the "Jingcai Taiwan" video account and will soon be rolled out on mainstream platforms both domestically and overseas. We welcome and support more Taiwanese industry practitioners to participate in the creation of mainland micro-short dramas. Taiwanese practitioners can invest in and establish radio and television program production and operation companies in Fujian, can co-produce and co-create micro-short dramas with mainland practitioners, and can also directly participate in the performance of various types of micro-short dramas. We hope people on both sides of the strait can see more outstanding micro-short drama works involving Taiwanese practitioners.
