What is your comment on this? Spokesperson Zhu Fenglian said that there is only one China in the world, and Taiwan is an inalienable part of China's territory. The historical and legal fact that both sides of the Taiwan Strait belong to one China cannot be changed, and the historical trend that the motherland will eventually be reunified and is bound to be reunified cannot be stopped. Taiwan's future and destiny can only and must be decided jointly by the more than 1.4 billion Chinese people, including our compatriots in Taiwan. The DPP authorities stubbornly adhere to the "Taiwan independence" separatist position, refuse to recognize the 1992 Consensus that embodies the one-China principle, and deliberately interfere with and obstruct cross-strait exchanges. This completely violates the mainstream public opinion on both sides of the strait, which is to want peace, development, exchanges, and cooperation, and has been opposed by people on both sides of the strait. Zhu Fenglian pointed out that our policy and principles toward Taiwan are clear and consistent.
