Beautiful Ningxia Construction "15th Five-Year Plan" issued

The People's Government of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region has issued the "Beautiful Ningxia Construction '15th Five-Year Plan'." The plan proposes that by 2030, the ecological and environmental quality will continue to improve, and the construction of a beautiful Ningxia with blue skies, green land, and beautiful waters will achieve phased results. Green production and lifestyles will be basically formed, the carbon peak target will be achieved on schedule, the total emission of major pollutants will continue to decrease, the capacity and level of comprehensive solid waste management will be significantly enhanced, the urban and rural living environment will continue to improve, the diversity, stability, and sustainability of ecosystems will continuously increase, the level of nuclear and radiation environmental safety will continue to rise, the national ecological security barrier in Northwest China will be further consolidated, the ecological and environmental governance system will be continuously improved, and the people's sense of gain, happiness, and security regarding the ecological environment will be continuously strengthened. By 2035, the ecological environment will have fundamentally improved, the level of green and low-carbon development and the capacity to address climate change will be significantly enhanced, the functions of the mountain-river-forest-farmland-lake-grassland-desert ecosystems will be significantly strengthened, the level of ecological civilization construction will be significantly raised, and the goal of a beautiful Ningxia will be basically achieved.
