Nvidia's Jensen Huang: The AI industry does not need any new regulations

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said on Tuesday that there is no need for new AI safety regulations, as market forces will help companies pursue safety innovation. Speaking at a Salesforce event, Huang said, "We don't need new laws, and we don't need new regulations." The CEO also said that framing AI development as a choice between safety and speed is a "false dilemma," reiterating a point he has made before. "You can have both," he said during a conversation with Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff. "You can pace yourself until you're confident about a product that the market will accept. Market forces already exist."
