Beijing Xicheng: Striving to Reach 400 Departure Tax Refund Stores by 2030

On September 15, a Xicheng District special session of the "Capital's First Steps in the 15th Five-Year Plan" series of themed press conferences was held. Reporters learned from the press conference that during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, Xicheng's departure tax refund stores reached 270, and the goal is to reach 400 departure tax refund stores by 2030. Guo Jie, deputy district mayor of Xicheng District, introduced that during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, Xicheng District created new consumption landmarks such as Zhonghai Dajixiang and Xidan Renewal Plaza, completed the overall renewal of Xisi North Street, and cumulatively landed 328 first stores, while departure tax refund stores reached 270.
