On September 10, France's Schneider Electric and France's Aden Industrial Development Group promoted the landing of the "Guangzhou Green Smart Industrial Park Project" in Zengcheng District, Guangzhou, aiming to fill the gaps in supporting facilities for the region's pan-semiconductor industry chain. On August 31, a zero-carbon project by Veolia Group, also from France, was signed in Guangzhou Development District and Huangpu District, with a total investment of over 100 million yuan. This is just a microcosm of foreign capital continuing to increase its presence in Guangzhou. In 2025 alone, Guangzhou established 11,000 new foreign-funded enterprises, accounting for about one-sixth of the national total; actual utilized foreign capital increased by 9.1% year on year, a growth rate higher than the national average.
