A high-repetition-rate fusion basic module device of 10kV/100kA/100ns jointly developed by the team of Associate Researcher Liu Pan from the China Tianfu Innovation Energy Research Institute and Sichuan Gesla Technology Co., Ltd. has completed system testing, achieving over 1 million cumulative stable operations at a repetition rate of 0.1Hz. The device adopts all-solid-state switches and a modular design, and introduces AI multi-physics coupled simulation technology to achieve device design and optimization under high-repetition-rate operating conditions. The device features high energy density, high power density, and long lifespan, and can provide basic module support for fusion energy routes such as high-current-driven fusion and laser-driven inertial confinement fusion, while laying the foundation for the engineering application of high-repetition-rate pulsed power technology in fusion devices.
