Hainan Airport announced that in August 2026, the company's airport business recorded 31,058 aircraft movements, a year-on-year increase of 3.52%; passenger throughput of 4.7448 million, a year-on-year increase of 3.17%; and cargo and mail throughput of 24,581 tons, a year-on-year increase of 5.53%. For the cumulative period of 2026, aircraft movements totaled 241,400, a year-on-year increase of 1.29%; cumulative passenger throughput reached 37.0217 million, a year-on-year increase of 2.73%; and cumulative cargo and mail throughput was 256,100 tons, a year-on-year increase of 5.38%.
