Henan plans to coordinate the allocation of 10,000 mu of planned quota indicators to specifically guarantee land for rural revitalization and development.

On September 15, the Department of Natural Resources of Henan Province issued the "Notice on Increasing Land Element Guarantees for Rural Construction Projects" to solicit public opinions. The notice proposes that site selection for rural construction projects should adhere to the principle of prioritizing existing land before incremental land, and give priority to revitalizing and utilizing idle homesteads and rural houses, abandoned factories, village offices, and inefficient vacant land and other existing land. Land for rural construction projects should be tilted in the annual land use plan, and in principle no less than 5% of new planned indicators should be allocated to guarantee key rural industrial projects. The provincial level will coordinate the arrangement of 10,000 mu of planned indicators, specifically for guaranteeing land for rural revitalization and development; for those included in the provincial major construction project list, full guarantees will be provided directly, with allocation upon submission; for national rural revitalization demonstration counties, provincial key assistance counties for rural revitalization, and provincial key monitoring counties for rural revitalization, support for land use plans will be increased to continuously consolidate and expand the achievements of poverty alleviation.
