Sheng Minghong, former deputy general manager of Anhui Transportation Holding Group Co., Ltd., was expelled from the Party and dismissed from public office.

Investigation has revealed that Sheng Minghong lost his ideals and convictions, abandoned his original aspiration and mission, resisted organizational review, and engaged in superstitious activities; violated the spirit of the Central Eight-Point Regulation by improperly accepting arrangements for tourism activities; breached organizational principles by improperly seeking personnel benefits for others; failed to uphold the bottom line of integrity by improperly accepting property, using his authority to benefit relatives, and having others pay expenses that should have been borne by himself; illegally obtained and spent public funds through fraudulent means; took advantage of his position to seek benefits for others in areas such as project contracting and the disbursement of project funds, and illegally accepted huge amounts of property; and abused his power, causing significant losses to state-owned assets.
