Uzbekistan plans to nearly double uranium production by 2030.

Media, citing data from Uzbekistan's Ministry of Mining and Geology, reported that Uzbekistan plans to increase its annual uranium production from the approximately 8,000 tonnes expected this year to 15,000 tonnes by 2030. Uzbekistan's uranium production in 2025 was about 7,000 tonnes. Media, citing International Atomic Energy Agency data, said Uzbekistan ranks fifth globally in uranium production and seventh globally in uranium reserves.
