The Action Plan adheres to a goal-oriented and problem-oriented approach. In response to the growth points and existing bottlenecks and obstacles in smart home consumption, it proposes seven measures, including expanding the supply of high-quality smart homes, improving the smart home standards system, and optimizing community convenience services. It highlights the following four aspects: First, adhere to coordinated efforts on both the supply and demand sides. The Action Plan proposes encouraging manufacturers to strengthen research and development of smart home products; supporting home furnishing stores, shopping centers, and others in establishing smart home experience centers, whole-home smart and digital home model rooms; and guiding financial institutions to increase loan support for smart home consumption and actively support consumers in purchasing smart home-related products. Second, create a diversified and integrated ecosystem. In response to bottlenecks in smart home interoperability, the Action Plan clearly states that it will improve the system of intelligent grading and evaluation standards for smart home products, accelerate the formulation and implementation of mandatory national standards such as those for smart home interoperability, and accelerate the integrated development of whole-home smart systems. Third, provide precise services for different groups. Centering on the differentiated needs of consumers, the Action Plan clearly states that it will accelerate the cultivation of a group of large home decoration enterprises and platforms, launch personalized and diversified decoration packages, and vigorously develop customized, order-based, and appointment-based services; guide enterprises to implement age-friendly design and enrich the supply of age-friendly smart homes. Fourth, open up the chain of convenience services. Focusing on the inconvenience of supporting services in the home and home decoration sector, the Action Plan proposes guiding localities to set up waste home furnishing recycling points in a scientific and reasonable manner, encouraging enterprises to provide services such as "delivery of new products + collection of old ones" and "Internet + recycling"; and supporting the establishment of comprehensive home renewal service stations in qualified streets and communities to integrate various convenience and benefit services. Next, the Ministry of Commerce will work with relevant departments to implement all work measures in detail, promote the early implementation and effectiveness of relevant policies, bring more smart home products into ordinary households, and better meet the people's needs for a better life.
