Hong Kong Trade Development Council: 82% of surveyed foreign-related enterprises intend to expand their existing overseas business, and 63% will develop new overseas business.
According to the latest research by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, many mainland enterprises are facing challenges such as adjustments in global trade policies, the rise of protectionism, and the restructuring of global supply chains. Their "going out" strategies have evolved from merely focusing on market expansion to a more comprehensive business layout. Among the surveyed foreign-related enterprises, 82% expressed the intention to increase their existing overseas business, 63% plan to explore new overseas ventures, 54% intend to further develop overseas procurement activities, 47% aspire to expand their overseas sales networks, and 36% aim to strengthen technological cooperation with overseas partners.
