According to the Zhitong Finance APP, the China Index Academy stated that in July, the transaction volume of second-hand homes in key cities continued to grow year-on-year, and the market remains relatively active. The month-on-month decline in second-hand home prices in the top ten cities slightly widened compared to last month, while Shanghai's listing prices for second-hand homes have increased month-on-month for five consecutive months. Overall, the policy tone in July continued to focus on "stabilizing the market," with various regions continuing to promote urban renewal, revitalization of existing properties, and optimization of housing fund policies. Looking at the trend, the second-hand housing market is expected to operate smoothly, continuing its bottoming and recovery trend, with transactions in core cities remaining active. The decline in the number of listings is stabilizing sellers' expectations, and the downward pressure on prices is expected to gradually ease, maintaining narrow fluctuations, though divergence between cities will continue.
