China General Nuclear Power Group's Northern Center establishes a presence in Xiong'an, accelerating the gathering of central energy and electricity enterprises.

China National Nuclear Corporation's subsidiary, China General Nuclear Power New Energy Research Institute Co., Ltd., has officially acquired the land parcels D02-01-21 and D02-01-22 in the Xiong'an New Area starting zone, covering an area of approximately 50 acres, to build the China General Nuclear Power New Energy Future Industry Technology Innovation Center. This marks another significant progress in the Xiong'an New Area's role in alleviating non-capital functions from Beijing and attracting central enterprises in the energy and power sectors. Currently, the headquarters of three central energy enterprisesHuaneng, Datang, and Huadianhave settled in Xiong'an. Additionally, six other central energy enterprises, including China National Nuclear Corporation, State Grid, China National Energy Investment Group, China Energy Group, China Coal Energy, and China General Nuclear Power, have established their sci-tech innovation centers or industrial bases in concentrated layouts. The agglomeration effect of the energy industry in the new area is increasingly prominent.
