From January to July, the industrial added value of enterprises above designated size in Sichuan Province increased by 6.6% compared to the same period last year.
On the 18th, the Sichuan Provincial Bureau of Statistics released data showing that from January to July this year, the added value of above-scale industrial enterprises in Sichuan Province grew by 6.6% year-on-year, with a product sales rate of 95.3%. In terms of the three major sectors, the added value of the mining industry in Sichuan increased by 5.4% year-on-year; the manufacturing industry grew by 6.5%; and the production and supply of electricity, heat, gas, and water increased by 7.9%. By economic type, the added value of state-controlled enterprises grew by 6.4% year-on-year, joint-stock enterprises grew by 7.1%, and private enterprises increased by 3.6%. By industry, among the 41 major industries, 33 industries saw year-on-year growth in added value, including electrical machinery and equipment manufacturing, which grew by 11.8%, computer, communication and other electronic equipment manufacturing, which increased by 10.7%, the production and supply of electricity and heat growing by 7.9%, chemical raw materials and chemical products manufacturing growing by 7.5%, and pharmaceutical manufacturing growing by 6.8%.
