An explosion occurred outside a school in Kabul, Afghanistan, injuring multiple people.

Khalid Zadran, spokesman for the Kabul police, confirmed on the evening of the 17th that an explosion occurred outside a private school in Kabul around 5 PM local time, injuring several students seriously. According to local Afghan media reports, the explosion took place while students were leaving the school, most of whom were girls. Eyewitnesses stated that about 30 injured individuals have been taken to local hospitals. Zadran stated that relevant task forces have arrived at the scene and are investigating the incident.
