Multiple departments issue documents to further ensure the safety of agricultural irrigation water.
The Ministry of Ecology and Environment, in conjunction with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and other departments, recently issued a notice to further strengthen the prevention of wastewater pollution risks from industrial and livestock farming enterprises, ensuring the safety of agricultural irrigation water. A responsible person from the Water Ecological Environment Division of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment introduced on the 17th that, in recent years, some industrial enterprises, industrial parks, and livestock farms have been located adjacent to farmland, and inadequate control of wastewater discharge has posed significant risks to the safety of agricultural irrigation water. The notice issued this time focuses on ensuring the safety of agricultural irrigation water, with a main line of source prevention, process control, and end supervision, promoting the establishment of a cross-departmental, full-cycle risk prevention and control system.
