Eli Lilly's Class 1 new drug has launched a new Phase III clinical trial in China.

The Clinical Trial Registration and Information Disclosure Platform shows that Eli Lilly has registered a Phase III clinical study of Brenipatide injection in adult participants with depression. The Insight database indicates that Brenipatide is the world's first GLP-1 class product to initiate a Phase III clinical trial for depression.
