Eli Lilly (LLY.US) has initiated a new Phase III clinical trial for a Class 1 new drug in China.

According to the Zhito Finance APP, on August 17, the official website for drug clinical trial registration and information disclosure showed that Eli Lilly (LLY.US) has registered a Phase III clinical study of Brenipatide injection in adult participants with depression. Insight database indicates that Brenipatide is the world's first GLP-1 product to initiate a Phase III clinical trial for depression.
