CINNO: In the first half of the year, global electronic paper terminal sales increased by 25% year-on-year, with price tags contributing the main growth.
According to CINNO ePaper Insight data, in the first half of 2026, the total global sales of e-paper terminals reached approximately 290 million units, a year-on-year increase of 25%. Among these, the sales of e-paper price tags were 280 million units, up 27% year-on-year, continuing to be the core driving force of industry growth; e-paper tablet sales were 6.1 million units, a decline of more than 16% year-on-year, down from 7.3 million units in the first half of 2025. In the segmented market, e-reader sales stood at 4.8 million units and office notebook sales at 1.3 million units. CINNO's chief analyst Zhou Hua stated that overall, the application structure of e-paper is further concentrating on smart retail, with a clear differentiation between the high demand for price tags and the phase adjustment of tablets.
